Our Return Policy
We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items in their original condition (unworn, unwashed, with tags attached). Please note:
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
Non-Returnable Items
To maintain hygiene and quality standards, the following cannot be returned:
- Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
- Rings (for hygiene reasons)
- Reusable Masks (for health and safety reasons)
- Any items marked as final sale
The Chic Couture Return Process
Step 1: Initiate Your Return
Email our Oakland-based customer care team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Include:
- Your order number
- Item(s) you wish to return
- Reason for return
- Whether you prefer an exchange or refund
Step 2: Package Your Return
Once approved, securely package your item(s) in the original packaging with all tags attached. Include the original packing slip.

Refund Timeline & Methods
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Processing Time: 3-5 business days
- Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Appearance on Your Statement: 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution
Exchanges
For exchanges of equal value:
- We’ll ship your new item once we receive the return
- For exchanges of higher value, you’ll be invoiced for the difference
- Shipping charges apply for the new item unless the original return was due to our error
International Returns
For our global clientele (excluding certain Asian/remote areas):
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- Customs fees are non-refundable
- Please mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges
